Adobe Lightroom

This course provides a comprehensive overview of Adobe Lightroom Develop module.  Lightroom is the premier photo editing tool used by industry experts all over the world.  While it provides incredible capabilities to both correct and enhance your images, its multitude of adjustments can easily become overwhelming to a new user.  This class will walk students through all the various controls and settings and clearly illustrate several popular methods and themes used in photo editing.

By the end of this course each student should be able navigate Lightroom with ease, have a clear understanding of lightroom's various controls, and be able to correct and add artistic effects to images.

This class is limited to 5 people to ensure our students receive individual attention​

Classroom training will cover key concepts including:

• Adjusting exposure and understanding the histogram

• Adjusting white balance and color correction

• Using various filters, gradiants, and adjustment brushes

• Applying lens corrections to remove aberrations and distortions

• Adjusting sharpness and removing noise

• Creating and applying Presets to dramatically expedite editing multiple images

 

Recommended equipment:  A laptop loaded with Adobe Lightroom.  The instructor will be using Lightroom CC, but other versions are ok too.  Lightroom can be downloaded from Adobe’s website for a monthly membership fee of $9.99.​
