About The Course

JPA offers private one-on-one instruction with one of our highly experienced photographers.

If you're looking to accelerate your learning and take your photography to a new level in the least amount of time, our experience has shown private lessons are tremendously advantageous.  Private lessons give you exclusive one-on-one access to a professional photographer who can quickly determine and help overcome your sticking points.

These sessions can be formatted as a structured learning course, or can be individually tailored to a specific need.  Alternatively, one of our instructors can meet you at a location and provide general critiques of your photography skills.

These sessions can focus on one or multiple topics, including:

  • Camera operation

  • Composition

  • Flash 

  • Studio shooting

  • Field shooting

  • Portraits

  • Landscapes

  • Lightroom

  • Photoshop

  • Equipment purchasing

  • Working with a model

For private lessons we have a photo studio and model available for a small extra fee.
